Kile Oak

The Irvington Garden Club helps maintain the landmark Kile Oak tree and the grounds that surround it.

 

The Kile Oak, located at 5939 Beechwood Avenue, is a bur oak tree that is nearly 400 years old. It is one of the oldest trees in the state of Indiana.

 

The lot and tree are protected by the Irvington Landmarks Foundation and have been declared a natural habitat.
